Winter solstice & Yule Logs
Christmas is all yours
The Science of a healthy life
As this year comes to a close and Santa draws near with his big sack of global presents for us all, the best gift this year for all of us was handed out in Paris when close to 200 nations came together during the cop 21 meeting to not just talk about the need for healthy lives and a healthier planet, but to go from debating it in round about and meaningless ways to simply put, finally making it happen.

Christmas time, every day
And is it not true, that when people finally take their time to look up from their own cup of selfishness that a healthy planet, with healthy food, clean air and skies, fresh and healthy oceans and water. Fertile grounds, equality and healthy fulfilling, non-destructive lives and jobs for all is the perpetual Christmas gift that will keep giving every day and moment of all our lives.
Well, that is really how simple it is when it comes down to creating a world that from now on makes use of clean energy instead of coal and oil. Clean industries instead of polluting ones. Healthy and sustainable food instead of damaging junk food. Proper nutrition instead of unsustainable and lacking nutrition whose sole reason to exist is to generate a profit at the expense of your well-being.
When you look at the actual facts of life instead of nurturing your own selfish point of view with no regard to other human beings it becomes impossible to not see how this is the best global Christmas present we all could have asked for, for our own individual sake, as well as for all the billions of people which you have never met.
And this year, we did get exactly such a wonderful gift.
Now, of course, we will have to remind each other to continue unwrapping this perpetual gift that will outlast us all, not just for now, during our lifetime, but for every coming generation too :).
And as such, I am going to wish you all a happy and wonderful, kind and relaxing winter solstice and yule log adventure right in the here and now. And remember. If things aren't crystal clear perfect in this very moment, never stop adding the little baby pebbles that one by one builds your cute little stony pathway through your life exactly the way you are choosing to build it. Step by step you will always direct the remaining days and years of your life by your own will, so make the best of what remains. What was, what used to be, errors and shortcomings, bad memories - they are all in your past now, and as such the bad and ugly does not matter today more than serving as a memory of what you do not want, what you do not need, and what you will not repeat.
Memories and feelings and real needs will never, ever keep you from building the road ahead in whatever way you wish it to be. Memories and experience are the fuel from which you make choices that cater to making the rest of your life the way you truly enjoy it.
Baby steps people, that is how we build a better world and how we build the individual life, relation and society we desire, and that capacity and real need is within us all, because the things you feel, and the things you enjoy, they are your real needs in life.
So, never listen to someone else telling you that it is too late for you to enjoy the rest of your life, never listen to anyone telling you that you do not deserve a happy, fulfilling and healthy life. Life is meant to be enjoyed the way you need and wish it to be, and it is never too late for you to make the needed change happen. If 200 nations can finally come together and start working together to turn life on planet Earth around and finally make it better, healthier, happier and more fulfilling for us all, so can we all on an individual level.
Is your job dragging you down? Quit it.
Is your partner making life less, quit your partner.
Do you dislike where you live? Move.
Are you continually eating sloppy and or too much, and working out too little despite wanting to tone up and improve your health? Just do it, (the changes you need) the Nike way.
Change is not hard. It can be scary, but you already know what you do not want and need, and you already know what you do not enjoy. Changing towards what you need and enjoy in life should never be looked upon as a big unknown, change happens the way we build our own path ahead, and as such, healthy daily choices that caters to your own needs is a healthy and productive and positive road down the rest of your life. A road that gives you a better and more fulfilling life.
So go out and conquer the rest of 2015 and build an even better 2016.
Life is your art after all and life is meant to be enjoyed your way, by you, without you abusing others emotional and physical joy and health - and without them abusing you. A simple truth that applies to you and me, every corporation, town and municipality and nation.
And all it takes is you making perpetual choices that caters to your joy, your life, and your healthy needs. As long as we keep making choices that speak up against narrow-minded selfishness, be it on an individual or national level, health, relations or religion and sex, it still works the same mutually wonderful way.
Merry Xmas you all and a happy rest of your next year :).

horses three
a dragon
atop the tree
From inside a glass jar
peculiar so
Your eyes are peering
Straight back out the ever tree
Outside that rounded glass
The world spins and wobbles
rumbles, resonates
Words and sounds like light
of night and day
so clear and sighted
yet at times
perhaps
it dips, a tad bit
obfuscated
Through the dome
something bends and changes
The perspective of time
with which
You see and sense
The living world
And all It's peers
White it falls
shortened days
the ice that rumbles reminds you so
to descend
down from the tree to play
your yearly tune
that paints their brethren sky so green and vivid
eat their oat and sprinkle gifts
climb back up
the tree and moon, the night is brief
and you need your sleep
inside the ice and night
of northern halls
